This will be casual but not scruffy.

Light blue jeans for male and black skinny jeans for female.

Cream dress for one woman and other colourful and patterned.

Colour of shoes is optional therefore any shoes could be worn.

Grey jumper was to be worn for male with pattern on the front.

Hair and makeup was discreet but still worn.

This is the mock up of my Front page, Contents page & Double page spread for my collage magazine this shows were the text will be laid out and how it will look. This also shows that there are several pictures on the page and information which helps the reader get to were they want. This helps me when i make the real project as it shows where everything will go and how big it should be on the page.

Charter of Values

This is the charter of values for deyes high school allows the school to give each student the chance to obtain all of them these are Commitment, kindness, a forgiving attitude, value & respect all people, trust, to be responsible for your own actions, enthusiasm, honesty, co-operation, respect all peoples property and fairness. These are linked with ideology because it is aimed at a certain group of people.

Collage magazine mock up

This is the mock up of my collage magazine mock up this shows the layout and how the text will be placed and the title etc. this page will be full of information relating to the information located inside the magazine.

Media Vocab

Buzz words: like wow or exclusive and free are all examples of this.

Puffs: Colourful Boxes promoting features inside.

House style: A magazine distinctive design that distinguishes it from its competitors.

Strap Line: A slogan

Banner: Text which stands out on a coloured background generally at the bottom of the magazine.

Copy: The main story of the magazine.

Anchorage text: The way in which text helps to pin down the meaning of picture of vice versa.

Pugs: Placed at the top left and right corners of the paper and are known as the 'ears' of the page. The price of the paper and the logo or promontion are often postioned here.
Motto: Memorable phrase that is recognisable to a band.

Headline: Catchy title for main article.

Sell Lines: Text on the front cover that hepls to sell the magazine to the audience.

Caption: Description of the main image.

Masthead: Name of the magazine.

Lead: The introductory paragrapgh of an article. Usually written in bold or capitals.

Drop Capitals: Really big letter that starts off an article

This is the annotations of a magazine cover this shows that there are several parts to a magazine that are on others.

Cohen's Moral Panic

Cohen's moral panic is when a condition, episode or group of people emerges as a threat to societal values and interests. We see people who are of a higher power and can threaten the people who aren't for example the media can say anything they want about anyone and mostly get away with it,other such as politicians can get away with things that most people would be unaware of but can still cause a threat to some. The media can change the minds of the public very easily for example when we see riots in other countries and other people trying to come to our country we see them as a threat because we do not know them. These groups are turned into what we call "Folk Devils" which makes people trust that the government will deal with these groups and in the UK and also the BBFC classifies movies because movies are seen as evil in the media that is why they give certificate like 12, 15 and 18 etc.


Folk devils can appear when a group is in trouble for example when the United kingdom was in the recession the media decided to focus all their attention on the Mps scandal which highlighted other things and gave focus from one thing to another.
